Swelling, bruising, redness, and tenderness may occur after treatment. Tell us about important upcoming plans, and follow the clinic’s advice to avoid firm pressure on the treated area.

What is filler treatment?

How are Botox and fillers different?
Botox is used to temporarily reduce muscle movement, while fillers are used to enhance volume or contour. Even if the concern is in the same area, the underlying causes differ, so the appropriate method is determined after a consultation.
What happens at a lip filler consultation?
We examine the thickness and boundaries of the lips, the balance between the left and right sides, and the movement when smiling. If you let us know your desired shape and previous treatment history, we will provide a consultation that takes into account the overall facial proportions.
How do I choose a filler product?
Rather than making a decision based solely on the product name, we consider the application site, tissue condition, desired changes, and product characteristics together. Even within the same brand, product types and approved purposes may vary.
How many cc of filler do I need?
The required amount depends on the current volume and ratio, the presence of previous filler, and the desired change. It is not determined based solely on photos or the name of the area, but is advised after an examination.
When will I see results, and how long will they last?
You may see a change in volume immediately, but early swelling can affect its appearance. We assess the result as it settles. Longevity varies by material, product, area, amount injected, and individual factors.
Can I resume my daily activities immediately after the procedure?
Most people can return to daily activities right after treatment. Mild swelling, bruising, or redness may occur and usually improves with time.
Can I have another consultation even if I have received fillers previously?
Yes. Please tell us the area, date, product, and amount used in earlier treatments if you know them. We assess any remaining filler and your tissue condition before considering more treatment.
Can fillers be removed by dissolving them?
Hyaluronidase may be considered to dissolve hyaluronic acid filler, depending on the situation. It does not work for every type of filler. A clinician will assess whether removal is possible and what care is needed.
What symptoms should I report after the procedure?
Temporary swelling, bruising, or pain can occur. Contact the clinic immediately if discomfort becomes severe or you notice unusual changes in skin color or vision.
